Why can't I just email people messages?
Meendo believes that the messenger we provide is easy to use and very secure. Some people would much prefer an email correspondence system, although this can lead to spam and an often undesirable release of personal information. Meendo’s messaging system also saves all of your chats externally, meaning it’s less likely to be found by people who may share your computer.

How do I send a message to other users?
Sending a message to someone on Meendo is very simple; navigate to their profile, find the 'Send Message' link, type what you want to say and hit 'Send'!

I think someone is sending messages from my account.
In situations like this, we suggest you immediately change your password to avoid possible future security breaches. Be sure that if you use Meendo on a public computer, you press 'Log Out' after every session.

How can I send a photograph or video in a message?
We currently don’t have a system in place that allows members to send personal images or videos due to potential side effects and issues that may occur. You may wish to link them to an image or video stored in your open photo/video albums or you can create a private album and grant that user exclusive access.

Is there a way to check if my message has been read?
After navigating to your 'Outbox', you’ll see images come in three colors. If your message has been read, it will appear in white.

Can I stop a certain individual from sending me messages?
Meendo does allow members to limit or Blacklist individuals they do not wish to have further content with. To do this, navigate to Privacy settings and under 'Who can send me a message' chose appropriate setting or simply add user to a Blacklist.

Can I delete messages in bulk?
To remove messages in bulk, simply use the check box to indicate which ones you wish to have deleted.

How do I upload photos or videos?
Simply go to the
'Upload' section linked from the Meendo member’s navigation menu. You can also quickly upload media to specific albums by clicking the 'Upload' link inside the relevant album.

I don't see an 'Upload' button when I attempt to put my videos and photos on Meendo, why is this?

I always receive errors while uploading files via Opera.
Simply disable the Opera Turbo mode. Find the switch in the lower left corner of the browser window with a green highlight.

What are tags and why do I need to use them?
Tags help to classify your pictures and videos for other members to view them. After uploading an album, image or video, simply input associated words (e.g. party, bikini, webcam, 6pack, etc.). If you correctly tag your media, you’re more likely to receive ratings and comments, thereby increasing your popularity and potentially leading to more partners.

Can I release an image or video without a title?
No, Meendo requires every uploaded file to have a relevant title. Avoid using titles such as '1' or 'a', chances are your uploads will never be found if you do not title and tag your content appropriately.

What is the bulk editing and how do I use it?
Bulk editing allows you to connect a large group of files and change their details together. If you have a set of images or videos that you wish to share the same title and tags, bulk editing allows you to do this with minimal effort, vastly increasing the speed and ease of uploading your media.
To use bulk edit, flag all of the relevant files using the checkbox and click the link titled "Bulk edit". Simply fill in all of the information that applies to the content you have selected and hit apply, done!

I've uploaded a video but it hasn't appeared on the site yet, why is this?
Meendo needs to convert all uploaded videos for display. The process usually takes around 10 minutes and your videos will automatically be placed in their albums and on your profile when it's finished.

Can I change the details of my uploads after uploading?
Absolutely. Once your content has been uploaded to our servers, you can edit it at any time and it will not be deleted unless you specify for it to be.

How can I edit videos and photos that I have already uploaded?
Simply go to 'My Photos' or 'My Videos', click on the file and you will be directed to an edit page where you can make all of the changes you wish to.

How do I rearrange my photos or videos?
Go to the 'My Photos' or 'My Videos' section. In the upper right corner of each album you will find a button called 'Change Order'. Clicking this link will take you to a page where you can change the order of your files. Simply drag the thumbnail of your video or photo to the desired location and save once you’ve finished.

How do I change my default photo or video album that shows on my profile page?
Go to the 'My Photos' or 'My Videos' section. Roll your mouse over the album you wish to be default and select 'Set default'.

How do I move images and photos to different albums?
Go to the photo album or video album with the content you wish to move. Below the images, you will see a 'Move to' option – simply select the album where you wish to move them to.

Someone rated my photo or video, how can I find out who it was?
Meendo has a
VIP option that will display members alongside votes they have made on your uploads.

Can I remove votes?
No, there is no way to remove votes.

How can I configure who can view my photos or videos?
In the settings of each album (you can find the settings if you roll your mouse over any of your albums in 'My Photos' and 'My Videos') there is an option to 'set access'. Here, you select the user groups that will be able to view your files. The settings for each album must be specified separately. By default, all albums are available to all users.

Can I download videos that I liked to my computer?
Sure! "Download" button located just below the player. Downloading video is available only for VIP users.

How do I view photos in slideshow mode?
To view photos in a slideshow mode just click on the "Slideshow" button under the photo.

How do I view a photo in original size?
Click on the magnifying glass image in the top right corner of the photo and view photos in full size.
